The Glossary is being updated to include information on the recent establishment of global intergovernmental coordination groups for tsunami warning and mitigation, and to include and improve the definition of terms.

The ITIC does make available awareness materials in other electronic formats that allow for easy translation and localization of graphics.  These are in general Microsoft Word files formated so that the text and graphics are separated into separate objects for easy manipulation, editing, and insertion or deleting of text, photos, and graphics.  Please contact the ITIC for more details (itic.tsunami@unesco.org).
